What is Computer ?

This is basic and simple Question of Computer and there are so many definition of Computer. A few Definition we are explain here:

A Computer is an electronic machine which takes input from user, process it and give the desired result on the Output Device

OR

An Electronic Device which is capable of receiving information (data) in a particular form and of performing a sequence of operations in accordance with a predetermined but variable set of procedural instructions (program) to produce a result in the form of information or signals.

OR

Computer is an electronic device which is use to input data, calculate it, store it, open it when required and to give output.

OR

a programmable electronic device designed to accept data, perform prescribed mathematical and logical operations at high speed, and display the results of these operations. Mainframes, desktop and laptop computers, tablets, and smartphones are some of the different types of computers.

The word computer comes from word compute. Which means to calculate. So, a Computer is normally defined as a calculating device that can a perform arithmetic operation at a fast speed.

Computer are machines that perform tasks or calculations according to a set of instructions or programs were huge machines that required teams of people to operate.

 What is CPU ?
CPU is a Central Processing Unit, Which Process all our data, Store our data and control all the parts of CPU. It is a brain of a computer. In a human body, all major decision are taken by brain, similarly in Computer all decision taken by CPU.

It is a combination of three units -
Airthmetic & Logical Unit
Memory Unit
Contrl Unit

Airthmetic & Logical Unit
All the Calculation are performed and all comparision are made by the A.L.U. The data and instruction are stored in main memory are transfered to A.L.U.  Where processing take place. A.U. are designed to perform four basic airthmetic operation Like Addition, Subtraction, Division and Multiplication. L.U (Logical Unit) performs the comparision between two or more.

Memory Unit
It is responsible for storing data in computer. Data is stored in the memory of bits. There are two types of memory:

Primary Memory
Secondary Memory

Control Unit
This Unit is responsible for controlling the operation of hardware components and also for controlling input, output operation etc. This unit acts like brain of computer because it also controls the flow of instruction from one part to other.

O - Operating / Operate
M - Machine / Memorize
P - Particularly / Paint
U - Used In / Update
T - Trade / Tabulate
E - Electronics / Education
R - Research / Response

What is Data?
Data is a name given the basic facts and entities such as a name and number. Data comes in various shapes and size depand upon the type of computer application. For example - Dates, Costs, Weights, Roll Number and class etc.

What is Information?
It is knowledge obtained from data when they apply a set of rules, thus information means processed data. The information are obtained assembly items of data into a meaning form. For example - Marks obtained by student and their roll no would be data.

OR

A meaning full form of data is called information. Information is output. It is processed form of data.

What is Hardware?
Hardware refers to the parts of computer that you can see and touch, including the case and everything inside it. The most important piece of hardware is tiny rectangular chip called the Central Processing Unit or microprocessor. It is the brain of computer - the part that translates instructions and performs calculations. Hardware items such as your monitor, keyboard, mouse, printer and other items are often called hardware devices or devices.

What is Software?
Software refers to the instruction or programs that tell the hardware what to do. A word processing program that you can use to write letter on your computer is a type of software. the operating system is a software that manages your computer and the devices connected to it. Two well known operating systems are Windows and Macintosh operating system. Your computer uses the windows operating system.
